About Newmarket

NEWMARKET FARM originated by Cece Durante Bloum in 1990 has been one of San Diego’s most successful show stables. Our team of trainers at Newmarket consists of Cece Bloum, Gretchen Vosburgh, Pat Lautenbach, Lori DeRosa, Jill Cornaggia Reh, Ashley Browning, and Lindsay Ransom. We pride ourselves in creating horsemen from walk-trot to the grand prix rider. Helping riders achieve goals that they set for themselves and teaching them about respect and responsibility for their horses and surroundings, is what we build our training program on. We at Newmarket can accomodate any level of rider and horse with many different programs. From our school lesson programs to the county level, and to the “A” shows, all are welcomed.

NEWMARKET is centrally located between beautiful Del Mar and Rancho Santa Fe, California. One mile east of the Del Mar Race Track. Our facility sits in a quiet valley and is easily accessible from all locations of San Diego. It has extensive trails that you can ride all the way to the Fairbanks Country Club if you wish, or you can just meander through the beautiful canyons.
